The war had little impact on the religious sector in America. The traditional churches grew stronger than they were before the war. Since churches were good weapons of passing the message to authorities, by 1845, the Methodist Episcopal Church had grown to be one of the largest churches in America. In Mexico for instance, the introduction of formal education suppressed the Mexico’s Indian culture. On the contrary, the art industry improved because Indian and Christian romanticism was mixed to improve the Mural art.
